Luke, which is a physician in the Bible, is the origin of the company's name.
The founder of Lukas Biomedical, driven by a desire to help others and with a heart of compassion, aimed to bring goodness to the world and hope to cancer patients, and with attitude of a doctor, hopes to be like Luke the physician in the Bible, Lukas Biomedical was established.
In the journey of cancer treatment, we are entering a new era.
Traditional treatment methods have achieved certain successes but also face many limitations and challenges.
However, with the rise of immunocellular therapy, more effective and safer treatment options become available for patients.
Lukas Biomedical distinguishes itself from typical biotech companies through its use of memory T cells with immune memory and specificity in its cell culture technology. Utilizing patented cell culture techniques, these immune cells are purified and activated, enabling them to actively recognize and attack cancer cells. By using a patient's own immune cells, these cells are cultured not only to identify cancer cells but also to survive in the body for over a year with almost no side effects. This approach helps cancer patients maintain their quality of life and reduces the likelihood of recurrence.
Lukas Biomedical will continue to advance in the following four major directions:
1. Drug Approval: Lukas will further apply for clinical trials in the United States and Taiwan to obtain more clinical evidence.
2. Special Approval: Lukas will continue to seek approval from the Taiwan Food and Drug Administration (TFDA) for the application of its products under the “Administrative Regulation on Special Medical Instruments and Inspection Techniques” to serve more patients.
3. IPO: Lukas will move towards an initial public offering, undergo regulatory review, and strengthen its company operations.
4. Compassionate Use: Lukas will collaborate with medical centers to assist terminally ill patients with compassionate use therapies, providing potentially effective treatments when no other options are available.
